1. Do you repair fences, decks, arbors, etc.

Yes, we repair and build small jobs for commercial and residential customers.

2. How long does it take to stain?

It normally takes approximately 1,500 sq ft. an hour to stain/seal.
Please, consider some jobs will take a little less or more time, due to the
construction and surroundings around the area to be stained. For example:
if you have a 3,000 sq ft area to be serviced, it will take approximately 2
hours to service the area (less the set up and clean up).

3. Will the stain kill my plants and shrubs?

It depends on the type, age, and condition of the landscape prior to
staining. NuFence & Wood advises ALL customers, that every measure will be
taken to prevent any damage to your landscape, but some landscapes will die.
In a few cases that landscape has died, the bud will die, but it DID NOT
kill the actual landscape. Even though, we take every possible action to
protect the landscape, we highly recommend, the customer take preventative
measures also.

4. How long does it take before my new fence can be stained?

Depending on how dry the wood was, prior to installation, your fence can
normally be stained in about 7-10 days. (Warmer weather conditions will
reduce the wait time).

5. Do you meet or beat competitors prices?

Yes, if it is from a reputable company. (Please view our company
philosophy)

6. Have you had a customer complaint?

Yes! We have had one complaint. We made every attempt to satisfy the
customer and we finally had it resolved. We have had hundreds of other
satisfied customers and working on hundreds more to deal with the sad fact
of having one. The reason we displayed the TRUTH, is because, we are based
on TRUTH.

7. What can we expect about when and how you will perform the work?

Be advised that due to the weather conditions, including wind, we cannot guarantee a service date. Our schedules may have to be altered on a daily basis, due to the unforeseen weather conditions. We can not guarantee times or dates, but we will make every effort to inform you of a day that we may be able to render service.

Please move or remove any items that may be near or attached to the area that needs to be serviced. A general rule, would be remove any items that are within 10 feet from the service area. If you choose NuFence to move the items, additional fees will apply.

Be advised that in order to service your area, effectively, we will water your house, concrete, plants, etc. in order to avoid over spray getting attached to the items. Please, advise your surrounding neighbors of your service, in order for them to prepare their homes as well.

Due to the constant usage of water, your lawn, plants, etc. will be very wet. Some lawns will be muddy if there isn’t a lot of grass or if you have drainage problems.

If you feel that a service was not done professionally, timely, or in good standards, PLEASE, notify a NuFence representative immediately.

Although NuFence has high standards of quality, some oversights may occur. Please feel free and notify the technicians on any concerns you may have. Please inspect the service prior to the technician departure. You have 24 hours to notify NuFence of any workmanship oversights.

All trash, debris, and material scrap will be neatly stacked if you do not pay for a disposal fee. An additional $45.00 will be added if it is not included on your invoice.

Wood must be dry prior to staining.
